Lord Teach me to Pray

Lord is there away, you can teach me to pray

So I can feel your love, receive your blessings everyday

Teach me how to kneel, the words I should say

Lord will you help me, teach me how to pray

Can you fill my heart with the words you want to hear

So you can hear my prayer and know that I’m sincere

Lord can you help me I’m on bended knees

Lord teach me how to pray in away that pleases thee

Lord please fill my spirit with the words I should say

So that you and you alone know from my heart to thee I pray

Then I will know my prayer, is a prayer you did hear

Your blessings will surround me and I’ll go forth with no fear

Lord will you teach me, will you teach me how to pray

Let me learn all the things my Lord wants me to say

Let your light shine upon me as I kneel on bended knees
