The Pathway

I only want one thing from this life I live today

And that’s to find the pathway, Lord show me the way

The pathway that leads me, to an eternal life with you

Lord show me the pathway, that leads me home to you

The scriptures tell the story of all you did for me

Teaching me that eternity is mine if I believe

In the cross that you died on so that we may all be saved

Lord show me the pathway, the road that you have paved

The pathway that you built, when you sacrificed your life

So we could all follow our Lord to eternal life

Eternity filled with peace where no evil is allowed

Lord show me the pathway that rises into the clouds

To the heavens up above where we can find Gods love

A pasture filled with peace, guarded by our Lord above

That place where we can dwell in Gods house filled with love

Lord show me the pathway, to your Fathers home above
