Took me in

Today I got on my knees and prayed

To my Lord God above, so I’d be saved

For my life has been a life, full of sin

Then my Lord God above took me in

God waited patiently from above

And even though I sinned, he kept his love

For he knew someday I would come home

And I would kneel once again before his throne

For I’m a lost soul, can’t find my way

Then I felt that my heart was now at ease

And my Lord God above, was now pleased
