Am I Born Again

Our Lord Jesus Christ was so far advanced beyond anything we can ever comprehend. He knew when he walked this earth, why he was here and what the big plan was. Yet even though the scriptures told people of that day, they failed to recognize it, even though it was right before their eyes.

Based on my little knowledge of the bible, two things stand out.

1^st. Jesus said, “Unless a man be born again, he can not see the kingdom of God.

2^nd. During Jesus’ time on earth he was visited by those of the old days per the scriptures, but to my knowledge, he was never visited by God.

Jesus knew he would be put to death, he also knew he would rise again, is that not Born again. After that he would see God, the God Almighty and he would sit at Gods right hand.

When we decide to become followers of Christ, we basically enter into school. Every day of our life on this earth we are in school, from when we awake to when we fall asleep.

How well we do each day with our commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ determines how well we are graded for our efforts. How far we fall on any given day determines the wrath or amount of time we must spend sitting in the corner of the room.

Folks if you are a follower of Christ and you find yourself knee deep in the muck of life. Just think back, try real hard to find what it is you did that put you where you are. I guarantee you, you will remember where you went astray and you will then realize why the wrath of God is upon you.

Once you figure that out, pray for forgiveness and repent from that sin for evermore. God is a forgiving God, but he is also a stern God. If you choose to go to the school of Born Again, you will find it is not without its challenges.

Just because someone decides to become a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ, that does guaranty you a cap and gown. That folks you will have to earn, everyday of your life.

When Christ shall come with sounds of acclamation, to take me home, what joy shall fill my heart. Then I will bow in humble adoration, and there proclaim My God, how Great Thou Are.

Now if that moment ever comes for me, I will know I have been, Born Again.
