Lord can you tell me

My lord can you tell me, has Satan heard the news

How God sent his Holy son, because Gods love is true

Lord can you tell me, does Satan finally know

How Jesus died and rose again, so God could save our soul

Our days of oppression will now come to an end

Gods Holy son came and took away our sins

Gods promise was fulfilled, just like the scriptures tell

Gods’ son died for us, so God could save us all from Hell

Lord can you tell me, does Satan know the plan

How God will come again and take back his land

God can you tell me, can Satan now see

The fiery pit below where he will spend eternity

Yes God has promised there will come a time

When we will live in peace, our burdens left behind

Satan will be cast into the fiery pits and chained

No more temptation, we’ll be free of Satan’s pain

Lord can you tell me, does Satan know the plan

How God will come again and take back his land

God can you tell me, can Satan now see
