Forgiveness

I ask for your forgiveness

For you know who you are

For I am so sorry

That I ever brought your harm

I pray that the Lord will visit us both

Healing you, forgiving me, so we may go forth

Living our life, free of pain

Forgiving is the most, the most important thing

We must forgive, no matter the pain

Then one can stay or walk away

For you are no longer the same

Your spirits are high, and your soul is strong

And faith in the Lord will see you safely home

Forgiving seems to be the hardest thing we do

Even though each one of us has hurt someone to

Lack of forgiveness weakens our soul

Consuming our spirit, so Satan has control

We must forgive, no matter the pain

Then one can stay or walk away

For you are no longer the same

Your spirits are high and your soul is strong

And faith in the Lord will see you safely home
