The Stray
God rejoices and sings with cheer, when a lost sheep draws near
Praise the Lord God above for bringing me home
Gods pasture is full of those, who never stray and stay close
But our Lord never stops searching for strays
Though God loves those that stay, by his side every day
Gods’ heart sings every time he finds a stray
The ones that are lost, Hungry, and all alone
Gods’ heart sings with joy, each time they come home
Gods’ cup runneth over, his heart so full of pride
For the lost sheep that’s home, and is now by his side.
