An Angel That Cried
From high upon a mountain top, I gazed into the sky
There I saw Angel, with her hands held high
Her gown was made from clouds, so brilliant it hurt my eyes
High from a mountain top I saw and Angel in the sky
Her Halo was like a rainbow, the skies seemed so alive
Her gown stretched down from heaven, landed softly by my side
Her beauty was beyond compare, as she looked from side to side
High from a mountain top I watch an Angel as she cried
The blood of man is being shed, upon Gods great land
Harmony and peace God hoped for, is no longer close at hand
God gave us this world, his heart so full of pride
Once upon a mountain, I saw an Angel as she cried
The poor, the homeless, the refugees, no one seems to care
The weak, the old, the helpless, are left alone and are scared
Our selfish hearts are in control, and that was part of Satan’s plan
To destroy, Gods creation, anyway that he can
From the mountain top, I gazed into the sky
There I saw Angel, with tears in her eyes
Her arms reached for the heavens, as if to ask why
Today I saw and Angel as she cried
Today I saw and Angel as she cried
