As I gaze upon the words you wrote in stone

I find myself ashamed, for I have done so many wrong

So I will and pray to thee, until my sins are gone

And swear I never will forget, your words cast in stone

Words wrote by God as he set upon his throne

Tablets of Stone, Commandments in stone

No one will see his kingdom that go against, Commandments in Stone

Those words you wrote so long ago somehow have lost there way

They’ve took them from the public

Forbid our children to pray

But there are still a lot of us, who stand by your throne

And if you look inside our heart, you’ll find your tablets of stone
