Easter Praise

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, Gods holy son

Who died upon the cross, so he could save everyone

Our Lord rose three days later as his made his journey home

Where he now sits by his father, on the right side of Gods throne

Praise our Lord our Savior, for the sacrifice he made

He left behind his blood, so that we could be saved

The answer to our prayers, is the Lords eternal light

Seek him for he has promised, all who follow eternal life

He carried the weight of evil on his back with all his will

The cross that he would die upon was erected on a hill

He was hung there by the nails, which were driven through his bones

And there with some thieves, he died all alone

He gave his life for a world, a world so full of sin

Then threes days after that, He rose once again

Leaving us with the promise, of eternal life filled with love

Sing your praise to our Savior, the Lord, God above
