In Your Fold
Father why do I always feel so empty deep inside
As though I’ve done something wrong as if I have lied
Why can’t I go forth, knowing you walk with me
Why is my faith in my Lord so hard for me to see
Tell me what I’m missing, Lord I pray to thee
Show me what it is, that you require of me
I just seem to wonder, as I go forth from here to there
Trying to reach you, each day with my prayers
I can not help but wonder, If I have done all I can do
To satisfy my Lord, to prove my love is true
Will there ever come a time, will I ever know
That I have done enough, and I am safely in your fold
Lord show me what to do, Lord teach me what I should know
So that if I awake tomorrow, I will feel you in my soul
Father what am I missing, in this life I dedicate to you
Lord I pray you will show me all the things I need to do
I can not help but wonder, If I have done all I can do
To satisfy my Lord, to prove my love is true
Will there ever come a time, will I ever know
That I have done enough, and I am safely in your fold
