The Lord

The Lord is a kind, understanding loving God

Who listens to our prayers, who knows all our thoughts

The Lord and Lord alone, knows what’s best for me and you

Giving us the guidance, we need to get through

Another day of living where the battle rages on

As we fight against the evil, against the unknown

Sometimes it feels like we are about to loose the fight

But our faith in the Lord makes everything alright

The Lord rises within you and fills your heart with faith

Putting your mind at ease as his love makes you feel safe

The Lord stands before us protecting the life we know

Listening to our prayers as he watches over our soul

Pray for the strength of God all through the day

Although you may feel lost, who will find your way

Put your faith in the Lord; give God your daily prayer

And you will walk through evil, never knowing it was there
