The Stone
I have cursed every now and then
Drink beer when ever I can
Gazed upon a woman with lust in my eye
Done something’s that make me hang my head and sigh
I try to go to church as often as I can
And do what I can to help my fellow man
There are those who say I am only half a man
Because I still sin and pull a cork now and then
I guess they must read a different book than I do
For the book I read says they are all sinners to
Not one of us can go a full day without sin
For we are not Saints, just mortal men
So if you are going to cast judgment, standing on your throne
Let he that is without sin, cast the first stone.
