This Fight

Today Lord I kneel at your throne your holy throne

Trying to find my way, for I am lost and all alone

It seems the burdens of this life keep me from you

Lord I’m tired and I’m weak, and I don’t know what to do

Thou shall not tempt thy Lord, thy God above

The scriptures tell of your wrath and of your love

But Lord I can’t go on, I can’t fight this fight alone

For the power of Satan shields me from your throne

I cry to my lord, above, the God that I love

I pray you will send your blessings from above

An Angel who’ll help me, drive Satan from my life

I pray Lord God above you will help me with my strife

Thou shall not tempt thy Lord, God this I know

I cry upon my Lord, the love of my life

God give me strength, so I may win this fight
