Sinners Prayer

The clouds are a brilliant glow of yellow

As the sun beams dance upon your gates of gold

I have no way of knowing how long I’ve waited

Or how long I was sentenced to go down

I knew I had to pay my debt for sinning

If I wanted to see me family once again

Praise the lord thy God, thy one and only God

Your mercy is like the warmth of Mothers arms

Send me down for the sins that I have done

Let me stay down until the angels have returned

Send me down for as long as you please

Just let all my families love return with me

Finally I stand shaking before your throne

Forgiven I pray for the sins that I have done

With only one unanswered prayer left to see

Did all my families love return with me

Praise the lord thy God, thy one and only god

Your mercy is like the warmth of Mothers arms

As I gaze upon your throne I can see

My family reaching out to welcome me

Praise the lord thy God for all you see
