My Heart

In my heart I loved my family and my friends

But my heart was never full, do to the evil that’s within

Then one day I knelt, at the Altar of God’s Throne

And I was taught to love, in away I’ve never known

My heart runneth over, my eyes now see

A life that I thought, could only be make believe

My needs are small, but faith in God is strong

And I know my Savior; will see that I get home

No matter how high the mountain, how hard it is to climb

My Lord helps me through it, one step at a time

I may slip and stumble, and even have to crawl

But I know my Savoir, will never let me fall

My heart runneth over, my eyes now see
