The Lariat: By Terry Thomas
The cowboy through his rope
And he caught the steer’s neck
As he spurred his buck skin
To take the slack from his lariat
He looked at the crowd with
A big ole Texas grin
But the cinch on his saddle
Was tethered and thin
As he waved his hat for he
Knew the purse was near
He skidded out of the arena
On his Ass, led by the steer.
