Each morning when I waken

I sing my praise to thee

Thanking you for giving me

One more day to please

My Lord, My Shepherd, My Savior

My beacon in the night

It doesn’t seem to matter

How much I really try

At the end of each day

I hang my head and sigh

For I’ve lost count of all

The sins that I have done
